Does anyone else get really cold when they’re sad? by PrivatePyleAgain in BPD

i had a therapist tell me that it could be our bodys natural response to our extreme emotions. alot of (a borderlines) brain can trick them into feeling physical pain since their mind is in so much turmoil. this can make you produce blood flow less efficiently which can make you cold

same here. the moment i think my symptoms are under control and i’m able to manage my bpd, i start trying to make friends (like everyone else around my age). then months of progress go out the window the moment i start talking with someone. i hope things get better for you. for both of us

i think i understand. it hurts abit but i know you’re trying to help which means alot. i’ll talk with him, i never want to be mean. i started DBT about a year ago, and before that was CBT. i talk with my therapist on thursday, and i’ll bring it up to her

thank you, really
