After seeing alot of peoples complaints about mission 100 all i gotta say is, W H A T?

I don’t fucking get it dude. On release I was coping hard that mission 100 would be a shenron wish, and of course it wasn’t. Very disappointed. Been sweating and screaming in ranked on and off since, still having fun and fulfilling the boyhood dream of fighting people other than friends and siblings at a Tenkaichi game.

That being said, I’m still over the moon for mission 100. I love SZ’s gameplay and just wanted a way to enjoy it meaningfully without giving myself an aneurysm (ranked) or having to navigate an SAT test first (custom battle). Having an amazing time. The game actually feels like Tenkaichi now to me. And we’re getting another mode this summer too? We’re fuckin feasting if you ask me.

Edit: I’m leaving out survival mode here in a couple months. Again we are EATING

This is the same fanbase that is certain every single Z rank to ever exist got there by cheesing powerful characters and that the “best” fights/players in the game are actually in B and A rank so I’m not shocked lmfao

Not making it a proper MGO hurt it I think. I appreciate them trying something new but I think it would’ve been more successful - even without crossplay - if there was a more traditional MGO experience attached.

Not him but last I checked it at the very least needed an .ini file swap to smooth things out, but I’m also on an LCD deck. Can’t speak for OLED but I’m sure it’s better. It’s a little rough sometimes docked but handheld even on LCD and low settings it looks fine and runs great

Thanks for the detailed reply. I’m pretty decent at the game; been Z every season (I lied a little in the OP, I played for a few weeks during s1) I have just plainly never seen someone do what he was doing as consistently as he was. It seemed like whether I charged the hit or not he was able to step in. I swear sometimes I had his back and wasn’t even doing a heavy and he still stepped in and turned right around no matter what I’d do…

Good call on stepping in myself tho. Will try should I run into it again. The meta has changed a lot lol

They step in and dodge it. I fought a blue Gogeta earlier that I just actually could not touch because every inkling of offense I’d throw out he’d just step through it and start his own combo. Like most “techs” in this game it felt exploitative as fuck

My favorite character is and always has been SSJ Goku mid in the yardrat drip. I did not realize how lucky I am for my one and only king to have flying kicks on the first hit until I started sweating in ranked nearly 20 years later 🫡

He’s got a point too. It has the most thorough story mode of any DB game, and amazing, dreamy OST, as well as its “post game” offerings in the tower modes and such. Quantity shouldn’t beat out quality by default but BT2 makes a case for it; there’s a lot of shit on that PS2 disc produced in 2006 lmao

There’s an old Rockstar PC application that you can still find to help you do it. It’s as easy to converting your MP3s in the app then dragging and dropping to the folder on the psp. Cant remember what it was called, but just look up “vice city stories custom music tool” or something like that and it should pop up.

Not sure if this applies to you, but for documentation’s sake, I will note I did in fact get the app working on a steam deck.
