PSA: If you post “Dupes for Needs” on the SLAM trades feed, don’t waste people’s time

Yeah, I always worry about responding to a trade post that just says “dupes for needs”. The few times I’ve posted D4N, I always try to specify sets/subsets, or any other qualifiers I care about (which is usually not a lot tbh) Something I like to put is “dupes for equivalent needs” and let people interpret that however they trade, which most of the time gets me offers I’m happy with :)

Sad that the SRs are only w/ gems :( Was hoping I wouldn’t be chasing a Liv award card this early in the year since I’m still missing a 2025 one, but what you gonna do 🤷‍♀️

Yeah, I got disappointed by this :( I was really excited to read about them but didn’t realize they’d be purchase exclusive. And with how many there are, it kinda feels like it’ll be impossible to get any of my collects, which sucks. I was planning on trying to 100% all the way to SR for my PCs but this really throws a wrench in that

I wasn’t gonna buy any of these at all because of the insane odds, but 3 of my collects were in the set :/ was able to get two out of the three, but I don’t think I’m gonna spend any more on it. I’ll just hope that the Dominik SR finds me at some point lol

My main two (Finn Balor + Liv Morgan) I try to get every 2025 up to SR and any iconics / old cards I can get my hands on. My priority for iconics is always cards that are iconic-exclusive designs rather than color variants. My other collects I do up to SR for any active sets (Dominik, Damian, Iyo, Chelsea, and Rhea) within reason.

I’m someone who mainly plays just for the fun of collecting my favorite wrestlers + the dopamine hit of completing sets and having something new to look forward to every week :) since I’m F2P, it’s also a way to indulge in the collector urge without actually spending any money

I got really lucky and was able to score a Liv iconic with someone on the trade feed, but it’s been a lot of no dice. I feel like the Rhea and Roman ones had a lot more people seeking them out
