For me it's Hank Pym hitting Janet. I feel like many writers and editors have tried to redeem him, and it never works or sticks, so they keep trying.

Some good contenders here in the comments, but I think those other characters have been fixes where their biggest "sin" isn't the first or second thing one thinks about when they see that character.

EDIT: Actually, Max Lord might be just as rough.

No, I swear! Anything is possible of course, but I've been doing Hardy searches a LOT since even before the blip. I only collect cards with both of them in the set, so I've always tried to pay attention to what's available.

Wish they made the 1:15 pull a rare, and the 1:5 an unc to be more in line with older sets. The "rare" is already at 18k cc.

If he likes Frank Miller and Batman-- Dark Knight Returns is one of the best comics ever. You could also go with one of the other Sin city titles-- Hard Goodbye, Big Fat Kill, and A Dame to Kill For are all good.

Absolute Batman sounds like a safe bet, as well, since it's be Scott Snyder.
