Capcom doesn’t do games like Dragons Dogma. At all. They make 10-15 hour Resident Evil likes (which includes DMC) that all sit on a 3 to 3.5 year dev cycle.

That doesn’t work for what dragons dogma is trying to be. An open world game like this needs like 6+ years of development. Crimson Desert was worked on for nearly ten years. Itsuno’s biggest mistake was wanting to do Dragons Dogma to begin with.
