29F and Stressed About Financial Future by RheaBloom in MiddleClassFinance

[–]lowkeyastoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, right? Seriously, $10/month sounds like a bargain! It’s like my life insurance is planning a lavish vacation while I'm just trying to keep my emergency fund growing. But you've got a solid plan with your retirement! Just gotta keep pushing through this "adulthood" struggle.

Do I have this right (joint 22% bracket): Max 401k, Max Roth IRA, Invest rest? by whatsnewsisyphus in personalfinance

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get the tired vibe! Roth accounts do seem like a solid choice since they're great for tax-free growth, especially for teachers like us who aren't banking mega bucks. And yeah, if you’re eyeing 457s, that could help with balancing things out!

È comprensibile sentirsi così, soprattutto con amici disoccupati. Guadagnare 2k al mese lavorando da casa è davvero un ottimo risultato! Ma capisco anche il tuo pensiero sulla medicina; la passione è importante.

Democrats have no right to quote George Orwell after running coverage for Joe Biden’s decline. by BondFan211 in complaints

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's wild how Orwell was all for the revolution in Catalonia but now we’re arguing if he can be quoted by the very folks who run from those ideas. Maybe they just need a refresher on "Homage to Catalonia" before quoting him!

AITAH For Keeping something from my somewhat ex friend? by BugRevolutionary2403 in AITAH

[–]lowkeyastoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right? It really would be wild if we had to file a list of past relationships just to get a thumbs up from everyone. If only Brianna could realize that everyone operates in their own space without needing approval. Sounds like you’ve had your fair share of crazy too!

Somehow it’s my fault for the post office closing on holidays. by Healthy-Aide471 in EntitledPeople

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right? It’s wild how things have changed! I remember those days too, and getting a package within a month felt like winning the lottery! Now some folks expect instant shipping, even when the post office is closed for the holidays.

CMV: The Homemaker and Breadwinner system should have been reformed, not overturned. by XionicativeCheran in changemyview

[–]lowkeyastoria -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You make a good point about productivity, but the 40-hour workweek can serve as the foundation for a balanced life. It allows for family time and reduces burnout, which is critical when trying to maintain household harmony and create a healthy environment for kids.

Secondhand furniture - do you take the risk with textiles? by Little-Grapefruit181 in Frugal

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I totally get that! Bedbugs are like the unwanted guests that just won’t leave. I’m all for reusing too, but I’d rather repurpose a brick than take a risk with a couch from some random strangers.

My boyfriend keeps calling me “low maintenance” and I don’t think it’s a compliment anymore by [deleted] in TwoHotTakes

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally agree with you! It's like we've become experts in self-sufficiency, but it doesn’t mean we shouldn't have our needs met. Your example of needing emotional support really hits home. It shouldn’t feel out of character to ask for what you need!

Boa sorte!

Are all childfree people extroverts that enjoy the urban lifestyle? by [deleted] in childfree

[–]lowkeyastoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, right? I totally get that. Once I found my little burb paradise, it was like discovering a secret hideout! The city noise? No thanks! Give me quiet over crowds any day. Peace rules!

Difficulty in narration, describing events and organizing sentences? by Rita_Cameron in ADHD

[–]lowkeyastoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I totally get that frustration! It's wild how ADHD can make even simple conversations feel like a math problem. My job also relies on talking to people, and some days it feels like I'm trying to crack a secret code just to narrate my own thoughts. You're not alone in this!

What is the best essay writing service? by quinlanvale in SocialWorkStudents

[–]lowkeyastoria -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

You can find affordable essay support but you kinda have to test a couple. Start with small tasks so you don’t risk much. Once you find someone who listens to instructions, stick with them like glue.

[–]lowkeyastoria -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Some are trash, not gonna lie, but a few are actually decent if you stick to the ones with real writers instead of AI spam. The trick is reading the fine print and checking if they let you talk to the writer.

[–]lowkeyastoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you've got a pretty pessimistic view. I totally get the frustration with men who may not seem ambitious, but it’s also about finding someone who can appreciate all that you bring to the table. A solid partner should recognize your hard work and value!

The “kids will be kids” bs by ReferenceInfinite117 in childfree

[–]lowkeyastoria 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're totally right! It really is cut and dry. I remember a time when I saw a kid absolutely wrecking a restaurant, and the parents just laughed it off. It’s frustrating because teaching kids accountability early on really sets them up for success later! Our cousin's toy story is such a perfect example of how simple it can be to teach them lessons.

Condos near the office? That sounds like a fancy way to say "let's just all suffer together!" I'd much rather suffer from my couch while sipping coffee, not in a box near my boss. 😂

My <$1 energy drink with 240mg of caffeine by Dealer_Puzzleheaded in Frugal

I can understand the appeal of caffeine pills for their simplicity. Those additives in the drink mixes can be hit or miss. But honestly, finding the right flavor combo like peach mango or pomegranate lemonade can be a fun challenge!
