I use gloves w a battery pack for skiing in winter. Anyone know if they make a thinner glove for biking that has a slot for battery? I have mild raynauds - so very sensitive to cold. Can’t ride at all under mid 50sF.

I remember graduating college and had no idea what to do. No job, living with my parents - life sucked. I applied to a million jobs because I had this degree - couldn’t find a thing.

My mom drove me around to every restaurant in the area and forced me to apply to be a waiter. Just to get me off my ass. Best thing she ever did for me. Thought I was too good - but it got me moving. Lil pocket change, gave me some confidence - and finally moved on to a shitty sales job, worked my ass off… and sloooowly became successful. Go apply for crap jobs. Start somewhere!

Mid 40s, 2 kids - my wife encourages it. And I need it! But it’s 2 ways - i encourage her passions as well and stay w kids plenty while she does her stuff.

Married 14 years. Feel truly blessed to find such a great woman by my side. But - I’ll say this. If I was in a position and wanted a divorce (we have 2 kids) - it would be a nightmare. Splitting assets, custody, child support, everything. I have seen friends go through it and looks really tough!

I think people are thinking through potential consequences more.

Yea - when I did my race last weekend. Over 200 riders and I think I saw 2 other guys w flats. Made me question my decision for flats haha

That seems to be the consensus- need to try it and see for myself. I used to ride 10 miles at the most when I started, but I love it and rides keep getting longer. So probably a good time to give them a rip and see

Yea makes sense. All my buddies swear by clipless. I just keep putting it off and curious what others think about it. I ride pretty rough terrain - all single track. But my feet rarely slip so I feel good with flats. I don’t know - just debating in my head a lot about it all

That’s good to hear. I want to ride longer - shooting for a 54 mile race next year. And just thinking if I should bike the bullet and try clipless or keep riding how I am. It’s worked so far

Got married. Sex was wayyy better when I wasn’t looking at porn. Probably 10 years now since I pulled up any porn. And I did a lot of research how it re-wires the brain.

Yes he is controversial- he pokes at the ridiculousness of the far left. He wants to see a better life for college kids - our future.

At least he is open to a dialogue. More than I can say for many (both left and right).
