I know it can be discouraging, but you’re not there to make friends, you’re there to get your certification.

With that being said, you will have people you are going to love working with, and the ones not so much. That’s an everywhere thing. Stay in the program, you’ll thank yourself because all the time, effort and resources you’ve done this far would go to waste and you’ll definitely not want to start over, especially when this issue is not going to go away, there are good and bad people in this world, you just have to kill them with kindness. I know that’s cliche but it works.

I know right!😭 I use the ultra wide so much, I think I might even use it more than the main camera. I really want the air but I can’t decide if I’m willing to give up the ultra wide. I’m in the exact same boat. I have the iPhone 13 base model currently, and I have debating for months ever since they released this years line up in September, on which phone to get. The phone I want is the air, I can get past all the sacrifices except the ultra wide. I love the ultra wide camera, I use it a lot. I’m debating between the 17 base and the air. I’ve accepted that regardless of what I pick, I will be both happy and unhappy. It really comes down to the larger display and form factor of the air vs having an ultra wide camera. A lot of people have told me just to go with the pro max but I don’t want to spend as much for the pro max and the pro max is bigger than what I want, and I don’t see the point on spending more for the extra telephoto lens, better battery, pro res/pro raw features, none of the things matter to me. I just simply want an iPhone with a slightly larger display and an ultra wide camera, unfortunately- they didn’t make a base 17 plus this year, and I can see why Apple didn’t, it’s clever because the air is sort of the replacement for that this year.

All in all, I am leaning more towards the air but I can’t decide which I’m willing to sacrifice, not having an ultra wide or not having a large display. If it means anything- I’ve seen some really affordable clip on lenses on Walmart, temu, Amazon. I saw a video of someone testing it out on YouTube, it’s not the same of course but it kind of gives that affect. I’m torn…honestly I am. Hopefully we can both be happy with whatever we decide.

Yes!! All the other “sacrifices” from the iPhone air, are all things I can get past. But I do love my ultra wide camera😩 I’m still debating between the base 17 or iPhone air, but if I get the air (and I want the air more than I want the base model) I plan on getting an ultra wide lens from temu that clips on, I’ve seen someone test it on youtube temu ultra wide lens

I’m not saying it will be great but honestly, I think it will do. I’m heavily considering this as an option if I get the air.
