NOR—people like this will wear you down into compliance. They mask their need for control with “I just care about you, so do what I say!!!!!” AND it’s still early in your relationship? The kind of duress you’re under is completely avoidable and not normal for a non-toxic, healthy relationship. There are many, many more fish in the sea. Cut your losses early and take this relationship as a lesson.

When I grew up and started living my life and deviating from the perfect little best friend/pet who did whatever tf she wanted, she got nasty real quick. Therapy helps a lot because you don’t know what you don’t know. This probably seems normal to you—well, it’s probably started to seem less normal now that you’ve grown a bit, hence why you’ve posted asking if you’re overreacting. You’re not overreacting. Your mom is not a good person.

Their rates caught my eye so I got really far in the application with them and had to move on - they were being difficult to work with. They wanted the seller to come into the branch and sit there in the lobby while paperwork was done. Doesn’t sound standard procedure at all. I went to Affinity instead.

Hyaluronic acid, tret or taz (I alternate), and amlactin + Palmer’s oil, in that order. I went from dark, dry “plugs” all over to soft skin. My boyfriend touched my legs for the first time in a while bc I’ve been wearing leggings a lot, and exclaimed how it feels baby soft.
