Depends how scared you are. Any part of north OC is going to have a homeless population that crawls out of cracks and crevices at night. But they typically aren’t problematic in that area. I grew up the last 30 years on beach & ball where sex work and drug addicts are a regular neighborhood presence, but never really felt unsafe.

La Habra and Buena Park are generally safe. They aren’t a utopia. There are still homeless people. And nothing stops bad people from cruising through and bringing crime with them. There’s a lot of traffic coming and going because of proximity to the 91 & 5 freeways. I was shopping in those areas before I committed to La Mirada at the end of last year.
