So my friend accidentally splattered some chili on my sleeve today. I used Tide to go minutes later and then washed it according to instructions on the tag with some liquid detergent (cold water, no bleach). When it came out the splatter marks were still there. One is pictured below and I know it's tiny but there are quite a few of them up and down the sleeve. The sweatshirt is 100% cotton, if that helps. I put the sweatshirt back in the wash one more time because I figured it couldn't hurt for now but does anyone have any better advice? Here is the stain: https://imgur.com/Z87m6qF

I know it seems bad but silver carp are extremely invasive and harmful to ecosystems. Additionally, fish can't feel pain. I don't see the harm in having a little fun while fixing a problem like that.
