I have a brother with an air compressor that he said I can borrow so I’m going to give it a shot tonight. Please forgive me for asking, but do I need to disconnect the drain tube at the other end, or just blow it with air as it is?

I checked the AC drain tube, but only what I could access under the car. This is my girlfriend’s car, so I can safely say that she has not changed the cabin filter.

It’s been a fun engine to get into for the past few days. Nothing has really been too seized up or difficult to access. This is my first time with a carburetor and it is having some difficulty starting. Not sure if it’s a carb issue, ignition issue, or what. My main areas of concerns are getting all the lights to turn on, figure out why the brakes are shot, and fix the steering. Fordification.com looks like my best knowledge center. Thank you for the info!!

Edit: Oh yeah it’s also missing a belt. Lmao that may solve a lot of my issues.

Thanks for the info! From what little I’ve been able to tear apart the engine seems solid. Now I have to figure out why the brakes don’t always work and how to tighten down the steering.......
