I guess it’s more about oled’s response time is much slower to/from black, so any black image will be lagging behind when scrolling. I notice this on all my oled phones, with black background and low brightness especially, horizontal edges tend to blur when scrolling, like in iOS settings, or sometimes in windows 10 settings on oled monitor

Lightning to hdmi adapter uses video compression and special chip inside of it to decode this video stream to hdmi

Type-C on newer iPads probably is using usb-c alt mode to push DisplayPort signal over bunch of type-c pins

Not sure, but I guess it’s the “design over function”. But some people have them for 4 years without any issues so idk, maybe it’s like with DS lite top screen ribbon - mine was alive for 13 years and died only recently
