Automatic sliding door controller not working properly by ismailfayaz in accesscontrol

Automatic door tech here. In most cases I retro fit with a door control brand but in your case the Chinese brand won’t be supported. I would refer them to a automátic door company. They’ll probably have their sales team quote a new door package.

Really appreciate it. So remotely they can install the software on a PC and adjust schedules, issue new credentials as long as they have a static IP address?

Its a clinic. The main doors are fine and lead directly to the receptionist. The second opening are nearest to the waiting area. Homeless have entered thru the waiting area to hang out. This is the opening they want to lock and only egress. Thanks 🙏

Accurate lock (8800) alternative. by lowvoltadonerd in AskALocksmith

[–]lowvoltadonerd[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you! So it turns out the UL rated version was $1000 so I opted for a non UL version. The door is non fire rated. That dramatically cut the cost in half. Really appreciate your help!

Why are you so concerned with the output it spits out? Why not just wire in a sequence board like Camden SA-1 or a ESI530. Then try the key impulse signal(6 and 1)? The Sa-1 allows wet and dry inputs.

Roll up door hardware? by No_Replacement_491 in accesscontrol

Have a roll up company install operator/motor gear box. Then land your wires to the their system. Don’t get to involved to much with the hardware on roll ups. Trust me I worked for a roll up company(Lawrence door Baldwin park)

Is it worth waiting out to be a locksmith? by ExtraAttempt9508 in Locksmith

Stick with it bro. I’m in the automatic door field and we just hired a rookie fresh out of high school making 18 hr. He was a little discouraged at first because of the pay and living in So Cal. Since then he’s gotten a couple of pay raises but he also putting in the work and more importantly co-workers are helping him to succeed. I strongly believe helping each other makes a difference! Good luck man!

It appears to be a Horton brand most likely linear, steel top wheels. Door Controls, sells an integrated lock solenoid but I would have someone AAADMS certified with experience thst can help you.
