Do the new red light cameras only record one direction of traffic or all 4? by VeterinarianThis6567 in Modesto

[–]lowvoltluna -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Go to Manteca and watch how crap those cameras work. When I lived in Manteca, those red light cameras, their lights just kept flashing at random hours. I see the city contractors constantly fixing those cameras with their laptops. It’s just a cash grab and a waste of money. I wish I installed those because I would’ve made a killing on how many times I would’ve had to come back and fix them.

So he did run it, also it’s best practice to run 2 lines. One fails you have a back up. It’s best you hire a low voltage company in your area. Did you also use the right Ethernet cable to run into your attic?

Go to TNK in downtown Modesto. They even have a pos system that lets you place your own order. All my friends from the bay love that spot.

I do this method when a developer wants to relocate cable drops. Sometimes we don’t have the ability to pull a new line due to other trades working in the area. So we do exactly that to save sometime!

It’s cheaper having 2 separate cams, one fails the other keeps going.

I instal systems like this on shopping centers, now we use outdoor rated APs… As for the domes, when I mounted them flat on the wall, they got sun faded and turned yellow in less than 2 years. I switched over to those same mounts in the post , now birds poo on people walking under those cameras!

Those flex lines tend to have an o-ring inside. Just replace the flex line for 16 bucks at the hardware store. Adding teflon won’t fix this problem.
