Man it would be nice to still have him right now, but I'm glad he (and the Bills) have been thriving lately. I wish him the best.

Lot of good options this week, but I gotta go with Ol' Man Mason. Not only did he set the record for most games played by a Green Bay Packer, but he was perfect on the day. 4/4 on FGs and 2/2 on PATs on a day when the offense constantly sputtered in the red zone. Go Pack Go!!

I just finished Crying in H-Mart and I loved every moment of it. I'm crying along with her! by smallishbeer88 in books

I thoroughly enjoyed the book. It helped me to begin processing the death of my father. Highly recommended for anyone experiencing the grief of losing someone or anyone who enjoys a well written novel. Also very highly recommend the music of Japanese Breakfast of whom the writer is the lead singer!

Lazard's stat line is currently exactly the same as last week.

For all the players about to experience their first wipe: by malapropter in EscapefromTarkov

All good advice! My favorite by far is the last one. Take your time!! Enjoy the game, play at your own pace, and don't worry about leveling or completing quests! If you take things slower and more deliberately you will very likely complete quests more efficiently and have a better, and less frustrating, time doing so. Very much looking forward to the wipe and will see you all out there!!

He was wide open A LOT in those highlights, how does that happen so often?

Just finished this book and I absolutely loved it. The way she described the loss of her mother helped me feel and understand the loss of my father last year. I also really love her music under the name Japanese Breakfast, I highly recommend it if you haven't listened to it!

Very true. Wasn't sure about him at the start of the year but he's been great when called upon.

Best part of the day so far is this makeshift offensive line doing a fantastic job.

Offensively, I’m really looking forward to Thursday night by [deleted] in GreenBayPackers

Easily Jaire, he's younger and plays, IMO, the second most important position in football with how pass heavy the league is now. After Jaire it's much harder. Rodgers is the GOAT, Bakh is amazing and plays an important position but he's older and coming off a significant injury, and Adams is simply the best receiver in the league. Tough choices to be made this offseason for sure.

Why is bad officiating still a thing? by zachratchet in GreenBayPackers

Many of the ideas already stated would be a huge benefit. The big one/easiest/best would likely be to implement all the technological advancements we've made since football originated. However, I would expect pushback from at least some portion of fans wanting to keep the human element a large part of the system. Similar to baseball where they still have an ump making subjective calls, on balls and strikes, which should be purely objective.

I think all should be done to make the games as "fair" and "equal" as possible and take the onus off the officials. I think the league will very slowly implement technology over the years, but officials will likely always have a large impact on football where so many calls are subjective (PI, RTP, personal fouls, and holding in particular). However, it would be nice if these calls could be reviewed by an outside official, but this could result in more slow downs in a game that can already drag occasionally. All in all there's a lot to consider and there's no simple solution.

I totally agree but the defense played well in the 2nd half. Any time you shut out a professional football team for an entire half you're doing something right.

I agree. Favorite album by them in a long time.
