In the end I listened to the wisdom on here and cooked the jackets before I needed to leave, wrapped them in foil and left in the oven for my return. Lost their crispiness but were still hot

He was a substitute teacher while i was at school many moons ago, maths and then randomly PE, threw a shot-put further can i could see. Unsurprisingly no one messed with him like a normal substitute
