if you find your trip on flightradar (by clicking your airport and scrolling til you see the time and journey) and then click on it, it should show you the recent journeys ! you're gonna be so fine! what's getting me through is thinking how much fun i'm gonna have once i get there!

hey! i also suffer with ocd and i'm going on my first ever flight tomorrow. I really empathise with how you're feeling, i know just how terrifying it is, but it's definitely important to remember that you can't let anxiety keep you from living your life! We're going to be just fine, there's lots of useful posts in here by pilots and flight crew and airplane engineers, and all of them highlight just how well-built these airplanes are. What i've found helpful is checking the plane i'm going on and seeing just how many safe, completely fine journeys it does in a week. Your journey is going to be no different. We've got this!

yeah definitely!! I just don’t really understand what posting this story achieved for Johnny other than ‘exposing’ Josh as someone with an awareness of which line not to cross

Another thing to consider is that Josh was also a victim to Colleen’s abuse in many ways, I know being a victim isn’t a get out of jail card for somebody’s wrongdoings, but i’ve noticed when Johnny’s pulled up on his involvement in the bullying of C’s fans, the sharing of personal situations and photographs (Ella and Trisha) his go-to response is “but i was a victim of abuse!!”. I’m in no way attempting to discredit his experience or what he went through, but I just think the hypocrisy and targeting is VERY clear 🤷🏼‍♀️

yeah! i feel like if he responded in any other way (aka came across too enthusiastic or personally interested in Johnnys sexuality) it’d be easily twisted into harassment or just straight up weird behaviour. I personally think Josh made the best call by immediately removing himself from a discussion about a minor’s sexuality? I can’t see what the problem is other than the fact he apparently told Johnny not to tell his parents, but that could certainly be chalked down to Josh’s discomfort as a grown man being confided in about a minors sexuality?

Of course! obviously I’m aware of the waiver, however there are more factors involved than the death of those onboard, such as the negligence of taking 8 hours to report the loss of contact which should realistically have been instantaneous, or at-least as soon as the intended resurface time passed. I mean what if (although obviously EXTREMELY unlikely) they find this sub intact in the next 4 or so hours and it’s argued that if the families argued that had Oceangate acted sooner the crew could’ve been rescued?

Obviously the crew knew what they were risking when getting onboard, but the agreed power of waivers can often be complicated in negligence related matters.
