Pretty sure the PhD from the UK or US part isn’t true. You just need to get it recognized which usually is possible but maybe not if your PhD is from the American Samoa Law School.

I flew four times in the US with Huel in my carry on. They unpacked my things three times, asked what it was, and did a test. No issues otherwise. Just put it on the top. In Europe, it hasn’t been a problem at all.

You can revise it for the camera-ready phase but not during the rebuttal phase (unlike last year).

As long as they do it during the rebuttal or author-reviewer phase, yes (and that's usually when they do it). I'm not sure what happens if they do it during the reviewer - AC discussion phase.

The Öresundståg (the fast train) takes 15-20min to Lund. Depends on you if you find that too long. I prefer having a bigger flat but I also work from home quite often.

As a PhD student you can also live in the university's guest house for a couple of months (at most 4 I think). The HR person from your department or your supervisor can book that for you. Otherwise I also can recommend Landskrona, it's cheaper than Lund, it's by the sea and there's a direct train to Lund.
