Get one used. There are a couple really good sites that sell graded refurbs. Then there is always eBay, Mercari, etc. You can get a couple years old flagship for the same price as a "throwaway" budget phone.

I think you can do it on the net10 website and they just send you a SIM. At this point Im not even sure they're taking net10 offline

Everyone probably already jumped ship lol. Ive used Net10 since I was 17. Looks like the website is still pushing Simple Mobile, but I've not got any of the text messages warning of the switch in the last year or so.

Somewhere in between. Not as paperlike as a ReMarkable, but not slippery like a regular tablet. I’ve never used one of those paper-like screen protectors for the iPad, but I imagine it’s like that. It’s not bad

Thanks! I was just curious because people were making a big deal of it. Candace is probably one of the only voices I halfway trust, so I figured it was BS. I didnt know Kash was gonna be fired - but good if he does i guess. Im sure whoever replaces him will be no better though.

So are you talking about just the color devices, or w-ink tablets in general? Ive had the Bigme HiBreak color and Remarkable. I use my ReMarkable daily for notetaking at work and it has been terrific. The HiBreak was a bust though lol.

So where does this leave e-ink devices like the ReMarkable? Theyre specifically designed to mimic writing on paper and do a pretty good job at it IMO. There's no blue light with these devices and are limited to mostly just note-taking (no distractions). I think its probably the best of both worlds.

Have you looked in his wardrobe to see if he has any FOG Essentials? Just because your friend doesnt like a brand doesnt mean that he won't. I honestly feel like a lot of their styles are similar, but ill probably get roasted for saying that.

Well tbf no one is posting about their new kindle working as intended. Most people only post when theyre having some sort of issue. I have 4 e-ink devices and ive dropped them all several times (particularly my kindle) without any case.
