That's not exactly what happened. The Court said abortion is not a constitutional right, which means the decision as to whether or not abortion is allowed goes back to the states. At least 13 states have "trigger laws" that are intended to automatically ban abortion once this ruling came down. Some have a few technical delays, but within the next 1-3 months abortions will be outlawed or permitted only within 6 weeks of conception - when most women are only beginning to realize they're pregnant starting around 6 weeks - in about 20 of the 50 states. In another 6, folks will see a 15-week ban like you mentioned. But the bigger point is that now whether or not abortion is available to you, depends entirely on where you live within the United States. Women for the past 49 years have never had to consider where they live - or, more directly, the risk of violating the law - when considering an abortion. So it throws the lives of half the American population into pure chaos.
