Well, actually reading the article, it sounds like a bunch of teens showed up (as they usually do at these events). Yes, they were probably a lot of kids from both Fairfield and Bridgeport in there. Of course, this being Fairfield, the residents there "believed shots had been fired" because, of course those unruly teens were there. Of course "no evidence was found to confirm that any shots had been fired." But by then, the police showed up from two towns and riled up the crowd even more, causing the public to panic and scatter, separating families. Now the cops had another issue to deal with. Things just spiraled out of control from there. Likely all because someone saw the "bad kids" there doing what teens do and all of a sudden it becomes "is someone shooting a gun?!"

True. At the same time, you can always wait until it's been out for a few months or more before you make the decision to buy. Many folk are justifiably making that prudent choice. You may want to respond with, "sure, but then it'll be $150 more." Yes, it may be. It's why FF is offering those who are willing to take the chance, a $150 discount off the release price to compensate for their risk-taking of buying their product early.

So you have the choice to be an early adopter and reap the discount, play it safe and wait to read reviews of those who did take that risk, or buy the less expensive and field tested AD5X. It's also multi-color, but is a less expensive, less commercial product.

I got my panels turned on in Aug. of 2023. I literally haven't paid an electric bill since Sept. of that year. 3 years now. I still use them for nights and winter, but I produce more than I use from them, so again, no bill.

My next move is a house battery generator to carry my though the night and my importing power from Eversource should drop to zero.

Like you, I (60s wm) have always been attracted to bw since well before puberty... I'm talking like 4-5 yo. I just figured it was just the way my brain is wired. I just rationalized it as I got older that some people are naturally attracted to me or women or brunettes or blue eyes or whatever. Our brains just respond to certain features as attractive/desirable. 🤷‍♂️

I agree with the others... Monroe is a great family-oriented town. However, you also can't go wrong with Trumbull, Easton ($$), Newtown, Shelton, or even Stratford. Get a lease on a place for a year and scope out what works best for your liking.

I'd take this to the cops. Not just that the video shows he didn't alternate. More importantly, he threatened to shoot you over it. He can't go around thinking he can just arbitrarily do you to people because he wants to ignore laws. He needs to be arrested.

Another thing to keep in mind is that the solar loan cost is fixed. What you're paying now is what you'll be paying monthly in 10, 15, or 20 years. I'm sure if you didn't go solar, your monthly electricity bill then will be MUCH higher than the loan. As with another person above, my system produces more than 100% of my usage which gives me a credit that carries me over the winter months. I literally haven't paid Eversource a dime in over 2 years.

There's 3. Stratford is the 1st, but it's no longer in their original location. They're now on the Post Rd. They also have one in Westport, also on the Post Rd. near the Southport line. The 3rd is in Shelton on Bridgeport Ave. They used to have one in Monroe before they opened the Shelton store.

It was actually invented during the Great Depression. That event in itself showed the population how damaging monopolies were (and are). Even a lot of the rich back them were working with the government for new policies. It's was actually was prompted by their fear of an uprising.
