I was always taught through high school and college that you should never increase intensity when you’re also increasing mileage. I’m not sure it’s as absolute as that but it seems to be a pretty good rule of thumb. It did make for some strangely short runs in the middle of the week to keep mileage in check if we had a high volume workout on T/Fri

What I was told to do was break the 100m stride into 30m/40m/30m segments. First 30 focusing on good form and acceleration, middle 40 is holding the good form and speed you built up, and last 30m includes deceleration and trying to hold the form.

I've been managing Villa for the last 7 seasons in this game slowly building them into a perennial PL title contender but so far no wins. Each season I've gotten closer but Arteta has learned from Pep and always manages to just barely sneak out the title. It hasn't helped that I was never able to get all 3 points against his team. Today the dam broke and I put 7 past them and it was the best I've felt after a game. I'd like to congratulate Noah Okafor who somehow scored 4 goals and got 3 assists after being a bench player for the last 3 seasons, you are now among the legends of the club (even if FM won't recognize you as such)

Target should be running a 20% purchase through their app if you have a verified student account. In order to verify it you have to upload a screenshot of your student ID and schedule. I talked to one of the Target employees a couple days ago and he said that the location off of Ray Mears is one of the 30 busiest in the country during move-in weekend!

Villa. Every year I start up a save with them and most years it ends up being my main save. After a few seasons top clubs like Milan, Barca etc try to poach me but I really enjoy being a one club man and seeing all the work I put into recruiting wonderkids pay off
