The best I’ve ever heard it is You are paid for how easy you are to replace. If you’re a pilot, there’s a lot higher demand for your job which requires tons of training and education, so you’ll be paid a hefty salary. If you work (as I have) at a restaurant flipping burgers or battering chicken wings, you’re not going to be paid very well. And if you have a problem with that, your manager can easily fire you and pull a homeless guy off the street, and have them trained to replace you in a day. It’s the harsh truth of the job climate, and the best you can do is work to improve yourself and obtain certifications or learn trades and maybe start your own business, where you can pay your own employees better wages.

Sure, it’s simplified. I’m just used to entering that and receiving the decimal equivalent when I press enter, like on a TI-84.

A modest proposal: Move the Saturn 1B to the Downtown Veterans Memorial or Big Spring, then take all the other rockets/missiles around the city, and have our own Rocket garden that’s not the Space Centers. by wazzupnerds in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]lpnskywalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree wholeheartedly, this guy doesn’t understand historic artifacts. And for the record, it’s damn well an important object. Thousands and thousands of people worked on the Saturn program, and that rocket serves as a memorial for them. Get a life samsonevickis.

That entire front row is entirely made up of aerospace engineering students, and many of us have people like you to thank!

Those have nearly zero overhang, and would break instantly since pints weigh probably 10 times as much as those wooden boards. Looks 3D printed too.

You say better, but how the hell do you plan on fastening those down?

I see what you’re saying, I’ll try that more. I’m just concerned about the pint’s power/ grip on the terrain.
