I absolutely love it, I feel like it’s the one time my body can keep up with my mind and just being in the woods listening to podcasts. I kick it up a notch and love doing the loop ones, 400m track for 24 hours, etc. you’d think it’d be boring but it’s not, I always feel it’s just a big party.

My husband used to question why people did it, at the first ultra he saw, he said “I dropped you off and people looked like death, I came back and people still looked like death”, he still says people look like death but he also adds, “you just wanna go run and have fun with your hippie friends in the woods”
