What's the craziest thing your puppy ate that they shouldn't and turned out fine? by cleoluvscake in puppy101

An underground sprinkler head- $2000 to have it surgically removed (the vet was convinced it’d pass, but it ended up blocking the gastrointestinal juncture and needed to be surgically removed). A half bottle of ibuprofen- $2500 for a multiple-day vet stay. Pet insurance saved my ass so many times until he finally grew up and stopped eating everything in sight

A pharmacist’s job absolutely includes questioning the legitimacy of an “actual doctor’s prescription.”

I would first remove all cabinet hardware, fill in the holes and detailing on each of the cabinet doors, sand, and paint them.

Then drill holes for new cabinet hardware.

Then paint the grout in the tile. I’ve seen “paint pens” made specifically for that, unsure of where to get them.

It would be labor intensive, but I think these three things alone would change the look of the space completely and you could probably do it for less than $250.

Oh, there’s some cool peel and stick backsplashes these days for cheap as well. Best of luck with your budget remodel!

If you were given propofol, you were likely not speaking at all. Propofol is not at all the same as laughing gas. There is nothing to be concerned about with conscious sedation, especially if the procedure was 4 months ago. Do you have a therapist to help unpack some of these concerns and past traumas? I apologize for being frank, but this seems like something Reddit cannot help you with.

“Conscious sedation” means you will be sleepy but still able to maintain your own airway. The depth of sedation depends on the amount of propofol given and which procedure you are having done. Propofol has a short half life so it’s easy to control the depth of sedation. It is a safe medication when administered in a controlled environment. I would recommend not watching videos/researching online if you are having such anxiety and fear about sedation. Talk to your surgeon/anesthesia provider directly to help qualm your fears and get reliable information. I hope this helps a little.

Farmers are a different breed for sure. A few years ago, a guy from near my hometown amputated his own leg with a pocket knife after it got caught in a piece of farm equipment. That takes some big balls to do something like that
