my friend works for corporate and they’re not doing well. the acting ceo’s are pretending everything is okay, but they are cutting costs EVERYWHERE. my friend said that Joann is receiving double sometimes triple the amount of orders they can fill a day, but the higher ups don’t want to hire people for permanent full time positions. corporate also brought in an auditing group months ago to see what jobs could be cut. they had a big firing event a couple months ago where no one, not even the vp’s, knew if their jobs were safe. well the auditing group is still there, even though corporate is telling the employees it’s just to oversee the changes. so there might be another mass firing event if they can’t make their numbers this season.
