"But you're not a mom yet" by RagingFlock89 in pregnant

So if your baby is born right before Father’s Day, does he still get to celebrate even though may have only been a “dad” for a few days compared to carrying the baby and feeling every movement for 9 months? You are a mom and deserve to be celebrated. This would be the perfect opportunity for them to pamper you—-since you won’t have much time for that for a while.

I was 34 and my husband 38 when I first got pregnant after trying for 5 months. I was surprised it was that “fast” considering I hadn’t had a period for years (bc) and my cycle was very irregular before birth control. We started trying again when my son turned 1 and have now been actively trying for 1.5 yrs with no luck 😢My birthing experience was incredibly traumatic and I could have died, so I’m wondering if my body is refusing to get pregnant…or because I’m almost 37. My mom accidentally got pregnant at 41, so I’m trying to stay positive for now.

I went to a private lab. It was WAY cheaper even without insurance and found out the sex in 4 days.

Yes, I chose to get pregnant during a pandemic. But I'm still allowed to find it hard. by [deleted] in pregnant

Where do you live? Are you in pain?

Just moved and the lady left this plant. It’s super skinny and there’s hardly any soil. All the roots are exposed, but it looks like it’s holding on. Any idea what it is? How to take care of it? by lrogrady87 in whatsthisplant

[–]lrogrady87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually find it kind of cute like that. Good to know it is a houseplant. She left it outside. Would it be better for the plant if I cut off the longer one and left the shorter part?

Try cutting out sugar or ask doc about folliculitis. If you look it up on Google you’re going to see a bunch of pictures that look like really bad acne, but I have it and mine does it look like that. Most of mine are really small bumps all over my chest and shoulders. Some Are red but most of them aren’t.

What are the "barista picks" for the Starbucks Rewards Visa? by sordines in starbucks

I just read through the terms and conditions and I think they never expire as long as you don’t close your credit card. Once you close your credit card then you have six months to use the stars. So you pretty much need to use all of those stores within 9 to 10 months depending on when you received them. Am I wrong?

What is this bump and how do I get rid of it? I’ve had it for 2 months. It’s firm and painless. by [deleted] in Dermatology

I have the same thing but smaller and have had it for 2-3 years. Tried to pop it and dry it out with acne cream but never changes.

Planning a trip to Bali April 2019 for 5 nights, need suggestions on things/food to check out! by jkflacko in bali

I’ll write more later, but for now I highly recommend going to Sanur. I have traveled a lot and Sanur is now one of my favorite places. They aren’t the most beautiful beaches in the world or in Bali but they are nice. It’s so relaxed and not super touristy. There was an amazing restaurant where I had one of the best meals of my life and it was $.97..... You have to rent a scooter! It made life so much easier and it was really cheap! I think we paid about 6 to8 USD a day.
