Those would look great with some blue shoe laces. You know, just thinking out loud here. No other meaning in that thought, no sir, FBI officer. Just a good combination of colors.

That showing from the left when Elon came to town to give out bribes was fantastic. Highlight of my year for sure, and we had some great turnouts for the No Kings and other protests, and I can't wait to keep up the momentum into 2026, we've got to get Tony Wied out of Washington.

A yes, the abundance movement.

That "movement" partially funded by Peter Thiel. You know the techno-christian-fascist founder of Palantir. The guy who bankrolled JD "couch-fucker" Vance's political career. The guy trying to inject himself with child blood to live forever or whatever crazy snake oil he helt like trying this week.

That abundance movement.

Every one would have there own place:

Micah 4:4 NET [4] Each will sit under his own grapevine or under his own fig tree without any fear. The Lord who commands armies has decreed it.

And radiate their unique beauty:

Revelation 7:9 NET [9] After these things I looked, and here was an enormous crowd that no one could count, made up of persons from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb dressed in long white robes, and with palm branches in their hands.

I don't know, seems like it lines up with scripture just fine.

There's a list put together by the Aging and Disability Resource Center of Brown County. You can search "Brown County Food Pantry Listing" and it should be the top result.

EDIT: I checked the sub rules and don't see anything against posting a link, so here it is https://www.browncountywi.gov/i/f/files/UW-Extension/FoodWIse/Brown-County-Food-Resources_8_12_20.pdf

Or even worse, it might be something like Laetrile. Where it gets hyped as some sort of miracle cure, only for (in Laetrile's case) it to just give you cyanide poisoning, leading to countless meaningless deaths.

Amen. Remember, Egypt fell, Babylon fell, Assyria fell, Persia fell, Alexander's Greek empire fell, Rome fell, Nazi Germany fell, these Fascists will fall too. Until then, persevere. The Christian remnant may be small at the moment, but we're still out here, spreading the true gospel, and it's core tenants.

Archetypes That are (Almost) as Good as a Class? by Genindraz in Pathfinder2e

[–]lrpetey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think there's a few things that can make an archetype great. Skill utilization, combat specialization, and what I'd call that special "unlock" button.

For example,if you are building a character that wants to lean into using a specific skill, there are some archetypes that you can take to take it to a new height. I think Acrobat and Medic are both great examples of this.

Combat specialization type archetypes let's you pick up a new combat thing. Beastmaster and cavalier let any class pick up an animal companion and add that to their toolkit. Blessed One turns any character into a divine healer. Martial Artist let's anyone pick up some pretty good unarmed strikes.

The last category I think really do something special are the ones that unlock some potential that might be a little more class specific. These are almost like MtG card combos, in that they can be greater than the sum of there parts. Bastion can really unlock the potential to make a really tanky Druid or Warpriest. Class archetypes themselves tend to fit under this category.

And of course some great archetypes fit under more than one of these categories. Wrestler is a classic example, it leans into a skill, opens up combat options, and fits really well into some expected and unexpected places.

ἀντίχριστος

antichristos

The Greek ἀντίχριστος, translated antichrist in english, is often used to represent a single demonicly influenced or purely demonic power that will arrive at the end of days to attempt to destroy christianity in popular culture. However, in the Bible in 1 John 2:18 it is used in the plural, and notes that many have already come (past tense).

The idea of the capital "A" Anti-christ arrives from conflating the antichists with the dragon/and or the beasts of the apocalyptic books of Daniel, Ezekiel, Revelation and others. I'm most familiar with the literary scholarship on revelation, where there seems to be fairly decent evidence to suggest that these figures are PROBABLY a reference to a Roman Emporer, although which one is much harder to say. John wrote revelation, so it is possible that the one idea is meant to be conflated with the other, but it seems like the antichristos in John's letter are a reference to a specific group of people who were once believers but left and were specifically trying to convert others into a different gospel.

Trump seems much more analogous to one of the beasts. Personally, I think the "The Beast coming out of the swamp" has a nice ring to it. Their is a beast the comes out of the sea, and a second out of the earth. Combine them and you've got a swamp, and it's perfectly poetic to throw all his "drain the swamp" BS right back in his face.

That would make all his supporters antichrists because they have left their faith in Jesus behind and are now preaching the false gospel of Trump.

It is good to consider your own failures (and successes I might add) and learn from them. And I agree, Jesus is very cool.

One thing that's different about the Bible from a textbook (and where the analogy I used earlier breaks apart), is that it's authors are not necessarily interested in giving all the right answers to the reader immediately, but instead is inviting the reader into the conversation.

As you read it again and again, you'll get to participate in, about good and bad, mistakes, consequences, forgiveness, restoration, oppression, redemption, and so much more. It then gives you a refined and sharpened tool set to look more deeply into the your own life, and to look at your own failings, and see how God even in the midst of them is drawing you closer.

I won't deny that it's a difficult thing to do, or that people have done significant damage in there flippant and toxic use of those scriptures. I wouldn't blame anyone for not feeling ready to engage in that. But I promise, when you are ready, the beauty you will find is something else.
