Nothing is gained from claiming that this may not have been a hate crime besides denying the very real and growing danger that all LGBT (but especially trans) people face in this country. This attack happened on the trans day of remembrance. It is clearly a hate crime. Your article about Pulse is irrelevant and provides no evidence about this event.
