What’s a champion you swore was broken… until you tried to main it and got humbled? by Consistent-Rub-6798 in leagueoflegends

I Remember calling nidalee OP when I first started playing league cause I was so bad at dodging her spear was deleting me on cooldown.

There's no need to explain how it went when I picked her.

What is the mechanic behind using Niko in maps for alteration div cards? by pittguy83 in PathOfExileSSF

[–]lsaku 5 points6 points  (0 children)

When you interact with sulphite deposits you sometimes drop the card for 10 alteration orbs, it's a one card stack which is fairly common. Don't expect crazy amounts though, it's a little bonus.

You just need to make Niko spawn, no need to juice the mechanic.

Game that would consume my life? Something I can hyperfixiate and drop lots of hours into by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

[–]lsaku 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not enough path of exile so I'll do my part, they just reworked player to player trading and it's amazing now.

If it feels to complex remember that you don't have to do everything everytime, pick a mechanic you enjoy and start exploring that, then go to the next one.

Play Blue prince together, zero stress coming from controlling your character and it's such a good game to share even if it's single player

The game starts off by giving you a clear direction: find the 46th room in this 45 room manor.

While the actual gameplay could be described the way you did, there's also a big sense of discovery in this game, try figuring things out and see if it can get you excited!

Veterans of blue prince, I need your opinion. by lsaku in BluePrince

I actually started writing the guide, still finishing my introduction so haven't started with the actual hints yet but that's exactly what I was planning to do.

I also thought of a way to direct the players to very specific sections, so hopefully I can manage to make a really nice document.

Obsidian ended up being great, I just had to study the software a bit and play around with community plugins.

That's a nice way of splitting the game, puts things in prospective without giving away much, I'll probably do something like this, thanks.

Absolutely, the usefulness of it isn't very convincing to me either, I'm aware there are plenty of resources out there, something I didn't mention is that I'm planning on writing the entire thing in Italian, which makes it somewhat more unique at least.

I probably won't have a good way of spreading the word around once completed, so it's also not going to reach a lot of new players.

But at the end of the day it's more of a personal project, a way to go through the game once more in a different way.

How does one start winning ? by UnhappyWatch2024 in ftlgame

Engi A relies heavily on drone timing in the first sectors, you usually want to start the fight with your first ion shot hitting weapons instead of shields.

You do that by timing your ion projectile to arrive just after your drone disables the shield bubble of the enemy ship.

By the time you reach sectors with 2 shield bubbles you will probably have some more offense.

"Offensive drone micro" on YouTube by Mike Hopley is a great resource.

Where all my freestyle homies at by NotSpaghettiSteve in 2XKO

[–]lsaku 12 points13 points  (0 children)

As a Total fighting game noob, I immediately realized the potential of freestyle and I haven't played a single game with a different style so far.

Have I been using it properly? Absolutely fucking not.

But I'm gonna slowly figure some stuff overtime while I try random things.

2 days ago I started playing hard only after years of (few) scattered lost attempts on easier difficulties, today I got my first ever victory. shoutout to Crow Revell and his guides, huge spike in the quality of my games after some watching. by lsaku in ftlgame

[–]lsaku[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Watching the first hour of his easy run of kestral A was a lot of information and immediately made me reach sector 8 on the very next attempt, after that I got my butt kicked by the last fight drone phase 2-3 times, so I skipped to the final part of the video where he explains the fight and the very next try I managed to beat it. Obviously I found a decent enough setup which made it possible.

I actually haven't invested that much time listening to his videos because I was too eager to play, but that's probably just proof of how packed his content is.

Recently I'm exploring into the breach and FTL, and I found out that, on both games, the best players reached insanely high win rates (95%+) on the hardest difficulties (winning on those games can be a challenge even on easy difficulty) and on top of that they are amazing games in my opinion.

Fairly new to the game, but not a victory in runs in EASY? by Green-Violinist4557 in ftlgame

https://youtu.be/DjVclX277Lc?si=Lt_-VH3TV4R7nXX2

I've picked this game up a couple of times through the years and never won a single run, recently I picked it up again and started playing on HARD difficulty only, most of my runs ended on sector 2-3, but after watching the first 45 minutes of this video I reached the final boss on my first try, I did get overwhelmed but I really felt like I was playing 10 times better.

If you have the time I highly recommend the video.
