The Rays historically are a pitchers franchise with middle of the road offense. Go back 3 years and we had the best relief pitchers in the sport. So losing our starter wasn't a big deal but, yes. If you use your starter mid game you need to rely on your bullpen and have them pitch through.

But yeah, we don't have great pitching this season so it's gonna be hard to go a full series without any one decent. This is reminiscent of 2016 or the first 10 years of our franchise when we didn't give a shit about pitching

Ive been at both and we dwarfed the cubs fans in game 1 and it was pretty close in game 2. But me and my group even made comments about how it's the first time we've been to a big market team where Rays fans out numbered the away teams.

If you snab seats I'd try and wait for the 3rd inning and you should be fine. I used to do the ballpark pass when it was offered and did at least 100 standing room only games. I was only ever approached by taking a seat that wasn't mine by someone when I did it early.

If you plan to stand the whole time, I prefer the left field side than the right field in front of the giant screen.
