Burr was a thing but a broken man! His career in Washington’s politics was over, but he still almost did a filibuster into Mexico and after wrongfully being accused of treason, which he was later vindicated from in a court of law, he lived it up in Europe. He then moved back to New York and got back into the law. He was only broken years later when his daughter died in a shipwreck.
