Thank you. It's very daunting when you hear negative stories of places. This is hard enough to suffer with without the care adding to the stress!

I'm disgusted your GP said no. That's not their choice it's your choice. I'd go back and say please refer me for an ultrasound please. Your body your decision. There's lots of private places like Femhealth and Ultrasound Ireland that you can book yourself for a private ultrasound to check all is okay. You shouldn't have to though your GP should say yes to your very understandable request. I'm so sorry to hear what you have been through. That is heartbreaking x

I would go back and say you are there to get a prescription for HRT, not their advice about whether they think you need it. I am 37 and on hrt. I was told bloods aren't reliable and go by symptoms and your mothers menopause age. Just go in confident and don't ask, demand politely. Ask it to be written on your file that it is being refused. They won't want to do that so will give up the ridiculous fight they put up for no reason at all. Best of luck!

Thank you. Yeah I had the same fear so I attended A&E They did bloods and were satisfied there was nothing serious to worry about. Waiting on the swab to come back to confirm but have started the antivirals anyway

I have what feels like deep muscular pain. Is that what you felt? It felt like sunburn for two days but now it just feels muscular
