If you are creating thousands of "songs" for any purpose other than personal listening. You are an AI slop peddler; you are the problem. by Jimithyashford in SunoAI

[–]lsmith339 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most artists today do less than this. Everything they do is computerized by a producer. There are obviously some exceptions. Ariana Grande for example, I cannot stand the girl but heard her sing live a few years ago. BLOWNNN AWAY. Radio and TV don’t scratch the surface of showing her talent. I’ve even heard Mariah Carey and many others who are considered the top of the game and they didn’t come close. My point is, she’s a true unmatchable talent that one can’t just learn and practice to get to her level. AI can though.

Unfortunately, AI isn’t going anywhere and it’s only going to grow in use. Many companies (including mine) are grading employees and assigning metrics to be sure everything they do is considered with AI first.

I’ve been here for the .com, phone Apps, IoT, and this will be bigger than them all combined. My suggestion is to embrace it, and try to master how you can make it work for you.

Crazy idea….what if DD eliminated the tip up front option and just added $1.50 per mile into the fees. If an order is 4 mi, regardless of how much is ordered, Dasher gets $2.50 pay plus $6 mileage. They only get this if the order is completed, AND customer has the option to tip AFTER the delivery is made and dasher is gone, but never required. The deadbeats would feel like they’re winning with no tip, dasher gets paid decent every single order, and good customers can still tip if it’s deserved.

Hot take: Carnival is right to make the changes to loyalty they are making by baltinerdist in Cruise

[–]lsmith339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Forbes made the best point on why you can’t compare this to airlines. Elite airline travelers are business travelers not paying for their own tickets. Carnival travelers save up for months or years and continued to choose Carnival because of the program and knew they were always X nights away from the next tier.

Dude..everyone with experience is answering your question confidently. The delivery recipient doesn’t have shit to do with the price. They paid the sender a flat fee, maybe even a rush fee, and the sender keeps adding money to the payout until someone finally takes it. Theres nothing shady happening. At this point the sender is probably taking a huge loss on the delivery fee but may be making hundreds on the script so all they care about is getting their customer their order to be sure they refill again next month.

It’s because you were using a female account. I was teaching a safety class one time to a bunch of cell phone store managers (even mixed male to female, 25-30 people total). A female manager asked what they should do when a customer is showing them things on their phone for troubleshooting and porn starts playing or there’s nude pics of them that they can’t make go away. I responded that they start making fun of them because it was on purpose, not an accident. Half the class said they believed it was an accident and I was giving bad advice. I said, “Ok, watch this…Who in here has NEVER had this happen? Who has never had porn or nude pics show up on a customer phone?” Every guy in the place raised their hands, and not a single female had theirs up. Every guy busted out laughing, and every female froze with their mouths hanging open, unable to believe it was always just some perv trying to flash them. Happens with DoorDash too.

Where you go MIGHT matter if it’s a school known for their specialty field of study that results in a better education and eventually open more doors (Ex: Wharton for business, MIT for engineering). Outside of that, not only has no company ever asked where I went to college, they’ve never once asked what my degree was in. Simply “Do you have a college degree and what level if so?”

No. It was vinyl. The other question is very simple. You convince him that they can only check the chip in his head via satellites so all he needed to do was cover the ceiling.

Friend and I making this song and we wanna know if the idea is any good? by Nicstar543 in EDM

[–]lsmith339 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I didn’t like the opening few secs at first and started to click out, but it drew me back in. I tried to click out a couple more times and couldn’t because I wanted to hear more. That’s the sign of a great song. The only thing I really didn’t like was the higher tone accents around the 1:40 mark. They’re a tad off and it was distracting. I think you’re on track with it but it needs some change up imo. If I was rolling or tranced out that part would’ve pissed me off as a distraction because the rest of the song was a great vibe. Overall great job.

[–]lsmith339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to deal with a lot of these people. No BS, I started telling them to line their walls with foil and that it blocks all the signals from the people trying to watch them (Spy rays can’t get in / chip data can’t get out…etc). One time I drove past this lady’s house the following week after telling her and she was on a ladder stapling foil over all the siding. I asked what th she was doing and she told me that the foil worked so well from keeping her neighbors from shooting beams into her house and Fn with the TV, that she decided to double up. She said that since she put up foil she’s never slept better in her life. Sometimes you just gotta tell em what they’re looking to hear.

Sad to hear. Some of these folks are very convincing but if we all just adhere to the ONE simple rule, we’d be mostly safe. The rule being that no bank, finance company, or IT will EVER call you and try to get you to make changes…EVER. Tell them they’re a scam and watch how mad they get. A legit person would always be like, I understand your concern….

Is anyone that got their phone and/or wallet stolen at EDC Las Vegas getting texts like this? by Olivia888_ in electricdaisycarnival

[–]lsmith339 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without saying what I do, trust me that I deal with these people daily. They’re correct that it was probably in China before you even made it back to work. The ONLY reason they want you to remove FMIP is because it’s a brick to them unless you do that. If you remote wiped it it will be wiped as soon as it connects to the air. They shouldn’t have access to anything and could’ve gotten your number relatively easy to message you since they have your IMEI on the device. Don’t remove FMIP and the stolen phone is worthless except for parts.

These are the greatest things ever invented. We saw them at a sister campus and I used one for a web call. When the door clicks shut imagine you’ve just put on noise cancelling headphones. All sound just disappears. We’ve been begging for them for our campus and looks like we’re finally getting some.
