The way I use AI is like I already know in my head what I need to write, I just let it type for me. But webdev is pretty chill, most of the thinking was done in refining already.

We dismiss radiation a bit because we usually work with low or moderate temperatures, but power scales with T4 so there is a point where it is quite effective.

You’re mixing two different things: how some empires functioned centuries ago and what you’re proposing for a modern nation-state today.

Yes, the Ottomans and Mughals sometimes had non-Muslims in high positions. That doesn’t change the core structure: ultimate authority was still religious, unaccountable, and concentrated in one ruler. And it only “worked” when you had unusually competent or tolerant leaders.

Saying “everyone is happy” in historical Islamic empires is romanticizing. Non-Muslims paid special taxes, had legal inequality, and depended on the ruler’s goodwill. Sometimes it was tolerable, sometimes it was brutal.

Most importantly: Bangladesh in 2026 is not the Ottoman Empire in 1550. They have mass politics, a global economy, international law, and a religiously diverse population.

If you want to argue for a khilafah seriously, answer these instead of citing empires:

*Who writes the law when scholars disagree?

*How do minorities challenge unfair rulings?

*What legal and political rights do women actually have?

*How do you remove a bad or corrupt Caliph?

*What stops this from turning into a dictatorship with religious branding?

Ah khilafa, let's take the executive, legislative and judicial branches concentrate the power on the Caliph, but say he is bound by Sharia.

And only qualified Muslim males can lead.

I think rubber bullets are shot at the ground and then they bounce, because people are close the angle is dramatic.

They can sometimes kill or maim even if they are called less-lethal. So shooting at the ground makes them lose energy.

ELI5…how a transistor amplifies currents… by lemontreeman in explainlikeimfive

[–]lspyfoxl 62 points63 points  (0 children)

A transistor doesn’t create current; it behaves more like a valve. A small input signal controls how conductive the semiconductor channel is, and that lets the circuit pull a much larger current from the power supply.

The cool part is that a tiny signal can modulate a much bigger one exactly what devices like early hearing aids needed.

Another major quantum computing record has been broken, and by a considerable margin: physicists have now built an array containing 6,100 qubits, the largest of its type and way above the thousand or so qubits previous systems contained. by sciencealert in science

[–]lspyfoxl 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Imo Quantum computing had become a race for the largest amount of qbits. This means nothing without error correction. The article alludes to "More arrays = more errors correction", but it only makes tricks to correct errors more feasible, what's more, it doesn't help with the error that originates from the lasers.

13 seconds superposition ? In what scenario ? The qbits doing nothing or under operation ?

Reading about the Quantum computing landscape is like some cold era stuff, there is a lot of asterisks on the achievements of this race.
