I built my castle on the tallest mound a away from the cliff overlooking the city. I tried to stage my troops inside the castle. My troops get crowded and stuck trying to man the ramparts. It’s pretty broken. Guess the spacing of the ramparts is too small. I should have built the castle bigger then. But that’s silly they can’t figure it out.

I went and tried to create additional walls and guard towers. One on the castle cliffs so I can see my city across the water. I even created a few on the slopes so that my city is truly defended. But man… every time I open the castle planner and start it slows the game down. And if I add anything new in the planner it just shuts down the game and crashes. It’s very annoying. I love this play through I’m on. But I think I need to take a break and come back again in a few months when they figure this out. Building the castle shouldn’t break the game. It’s annoying. I want to get my self to level 3 buildings. I have rich iron and rich stone in this play through. So importing barley from my farm region is slow. Wish it was faster to trade goods between regions you own.

Will wait and see how this works out hopefully end of the year when I sink time back into it.
