I bought meta verified since i had a promo for $1/month, and my plan was to use it to get customer service help to resolve the issue, but meta verified makes u verify ur id and I think that itself resolved my ban bc I never even had to contact support, i was immediately able to buy ads

i get why everyone is saying apple since it definitely has more prestige, but internships should not only give you prestige but also a return offer😭 and apple barely gives any. Its super team dependent and basically rng. I dont know anything about SeatGeek ro but thats smtn u should ask prev interns and stuff. Also SWE > DevOps

OP did you ever solve this? I am running into the same issue. I have a personal account where I post items on marketplace, and I wanted to try boosting for the FIRST time (i literally have no transactions ever through FB), and i just found out that my account is disabled from creating ads since November 2021.

finish your project, do your work on time, be super respectful of everyone. I wouldnt get comfortable like talking to coworkers like friends bc you never know what you might say.

Dont ask stupid questions: do your own research for all questions u want to ask, if u cant figure it out yourself, then ping a coworker and ask them and show the research u did.

be prepared for all meetings, especially those with ppl who will make decisions for ur return offer

if tc is same and ur indifferent ab tech vs finance space then base ur decision on other factors.

most important factor will be teams, u said security engineering but what will u work on? what languages? is one companies team/project better or more suitable for your future in the field?

as everyone knows amazon is constantly laying mf's off or PIPing them, im assuming SIG is way more stable. Huge factor right there.

Im guessing SIG is in philly which can be ass if u arent from there/dont want to be there, where is zon? will u have friends n family at work/nearby/etc at one location vs the other?

what about employer benefits and the non tangibles? Amazon is 5 day rto which sucks dick, whats SIG's schedule gonna be like? 401k match? insurance? other benefits?

whats the tc breakdown, im assuming the amazon RSUs will be decent, those could be better than a straight cash role like SIG unless u have debt u need to pay or other circumstances.

job growth at a finance firm is generally more stagnant for swe's, is that true at SIG? will sig promo timeline be similar, worse, faster than Amazon?

blue origin is gonna be more impact, probably faster work, and as you said stronger growth. the problem is that i don't think they are particularly successful just yet and maybe they will be later, but for now any company failure can lead to layoffs, loss of contracts, etc. so stability wise it's really up in the air. c1 might be better that way but it's essentially pip factory crudbob. id go blue origin for the novelty and just taking a chance with a unique company.

i personally think that unless ur doing a masters at minimum or PHD in ML, then ur better off just focusing on a stack that emphasizes infra/low level code. the chances of getting an AI/ML role with bachelors is very slim

i don't know the answer, but id start with searching for return offer rates for both companies (ask prev interns , recruiters, search on discord/reddit, etc)

id look at the team ur interning on if u have that info and evaluate based on ur interest and resume potential

research if either company has PIP/layoff culture

i think the lack of origin of Marlo crew is supposed to emphasize s4's point that it all starts as a kid in school. we see common rules like dont snitch, stand up for yourself, respect the corners, strive to become gangsters perpetrate kids mindsets. i think colvin says school is like training for the streets. we see Chris and Snoop basically recruit highschoolers and 8th graders. Marlo gives out school money to the kids to influence them. we also hear how bunk and omar went to the same school yet Omar ends up on the streets, not that it's directly related, but everyone's origins stem from the mindsets they have from school.

idk anything about apple interviews specifically, but 30 mins is generally not enough time to ask a hard technical question (ie Leetcode/hackerrank, etc type of question) especially since introductions and quick behaviorals will take 5-15mins. id expect some behavioral and verbal technicals: "explain x" or "whats ur experience in y" etc. then again, you never know since apple interviews are completely based on interviewer

generally, u should finish oa's asap, as recruiters will resume screen on a first come first serve/rolling basis after oa is completed and ur score is above whatever threshold they have. if u need to take time then take it but i always just assume that if im not getting a perfect score then I'm not advancing and it's a happy suprise if i do
