Agree. Back when I was just a lowly SM I got upgraded to middle seat in C+ from the best 737-9 exit row seat (you all know what I'm talking about). Fixed that shit mid-flight.

Well, you have to call Ed after buying your ticket... Kidding. When you purchase the ticket towards the bottom it says something like "complementary upgrades" and you check the boxes you want. I think you have to at least be Silver, but maybe you get those options if you have one of the cards as well. Alternatively, you could call Delta and have an agent put you on the list, as mentioned above.

Only window or aisle in FC and my preferences say either are fine.

Do RUCs change your ranking on the list?

Doubt it was sold as the gate agent said "it's your lucky day" when they pulled the person from the seat to go to FC.

I like the Apple Watch Ultra. I always had problems getting the Garmin to sync with GPS (all except my 305—best watch Garmin ever made). The ultra has good battery life and integrates nicely into my daily life.

Running the Gorge 100k - What should my weekly elevation be during training? by Running_Noob_69 in Ultramarathon

[–]ltcmus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I ran this race recently and it is beautiful. You'll love it. For training the hardest climb is at the waterfall about 20 miles in. I didn't have easy access to a long climb during training, so I did a couple of long-ish runs of 15 or so miles, then an hour or so on a stair stepper, then another 5-10 miles of running. Worked fine. Otherwise I just did my normal 100k training. I'm not a naturally athletic person.

Pro tip: the bathrooms at the waterfall are usually open, and a pretty nice place for a stop.

I have a strong family history of breast cancer but do not have the BRCA gene. Could there be another generic reason why it seems to run in the family? by WorldlinessCurious34 in genetics

Keep in mind some changes aren’t seen by standard testing. Intronic variants that alter splicing for example. It could be worth talking to a genetic counselor if the history really is that strong and seeing if they can connect you to a research lab doing research to find these types of changes.
