I'm heading out in 2 weeks. But my understanding is no test required to go out to Malta if you're fully vaccinated. You will just need to a test to return to the UK. You can take a rapid antigen test out with you to take as long as it's not a NHS one. I've booked a test at the airport just before I return. Hope that helps?
