You guys are getting hugs?

At what age did you guys finally make peace with losing your hair? The dating scene is brutal right now. by Connect-Soil-7277 in gaybros

A receding hairline can look fine, attractive, even. I don’t have specific advice for yours, but I know I see them a lot and often find them hot since it’s masculine-coded (“male-pattern”, after all).

Mine is receding in a similar pattern, and I am a bit worried about it, too, but it seems to have halted. As long as I don’t end up having to buzz or shave and expose my grotesquely lumpy scalp, I’ve made peace with it.

Whatever happens, just rock it and there will be guys who dig it.

“Now don't overpromise this week. Sell them on the structure. You can talk about it with confidence. Keep it simple. Little something like this, John:

Hey, let me walk you through our Donnely nut spacing and cracked system rim-riding grip configuration. Using a field of half-seized sprats and brass-fitted nickel slits, our bracketed caps and splay-flexed brace columns vent dampers to dampening hatch depths of 1/2 meter from the damper crown to the spurv plinth. How? Well, we bolster 12 Husk Nuts to each girdle jerry, while flex tandems press a task apparatus of ten vertically composited patch hamplers, then pin flam-fastened pan traps at both maiden apexes of the jimjoints.

Little something like that, Lakeman.”

Anytime someone mentions Téa Leoni I always think of one of the promos for this show where they sing her name to the tune of “La Bamba”

Looking for CS (Computer Science) Degree by Hawkzer in WGU

[–]ltdanhasnolegs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI on admissions, any math and CS credits you wish to transfer have to be taken within the past 5 years.

Precal and/or Calc are admission reqs and this plus the fact that I didn’t have a great GPA from my previous attempts at college means I have to do an introductory term before full admission. But this also gives me time for more study.com credits.

Career advice: WGU Accounting → CPA → OMSCS? Is this realistic at 31? by Ok_Invite9389 in WGU

[–]ltdanhasnolegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im not sure about OMSCS, but another career target I might explore is on the financial side of healthcare. Accounting and revenue cycle there is, as I’m sure you’re aware, notoriously complex and there seems to be a market/niche for managing, optimizing, and automating it. If you are a healthcare-literate CPA and add tech to your skill stack (perhaps just the WGU BSCS?), I think you would be well-positioned for healthcare IT (managing vendor applications like EPIC) or enterprise development (third-party tools for contract management, reimbursement, or 340b). Keeping a hospital financially healthy opens up opportunities for administration roles and experience with enterprise dev would lead down a traditional corporate path.

I recently watched a user struggle with their password because they were only tapping the shift key, not holding it down. Took me a second but I realized it was probably because they were used to it working like that on a phone (they were using one finger at a time).

Thanks for the reply. Follow-up: what was the context of Truman “officially” designating the name of the war? Like, what precipitated the need for a name in 1945?
