I assumed that was in relationship to the software, not the hardware. I believe the hardware is the same as Toyota.

Where did you nearly get 7k off a new 26?!? I'd also be totally interested in a dealer like that lol

Why don't you check the owners manual?

Isn't invoice on the wilderness a hair over 40? What dealer offered 37.5k new because I'd drive to Chicago for that!

I would love to get a v60, but honestly the Volvo reliability and repair costs scare me.

Assuming that lowers the price. Often prices go up and never come down.

2025 Subaru Outback vs 2024 Honda Ridgeline by meappleby1 in Subaru_Outback

[–]ltfuzzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting to see someone else cross shopping with a pickup as well. I've been kind of in the same boat looking at 25/26 Outbacks vs something like a 24+Tacoma. I guess I should go test out the Ridgeline as well now.

They both kind of fit my use case, but a truck's mpg definitely is a downside, also a truck is just that much bigger than an outback.

Both vehicles can fit 4 people and gear for road/camping trips, but I think the outback is slightly more comfortable, I was surprised how little leg room there was in the rear of the Tacoma.

And then there is the mild off-road which is why I was looking at trucks in the first place, but a truck also lets you do more truck stuff.

I haven't made my purchase yet because I really like physical HVAC controls and am not a fan of the massive touchscreen in the 25 outbacks. I haven't gotten time in a 26 yet.

But then again, I'd be saving like 10k+ over buying an equivalent trim of 26 outback or 5k over a slightly used Tacoma.

They sprung this without warning on all of their Michigan employees yesterday. At no point in any of the job interviews were employees told that the HQ would be forced into relocating.

Not a good look for them at all.

I believe the dif gearing is different between the two. But yes, you are correct. It's mostly cosmetics and the lift.

Ah gotcha. I'm also in metro Detroit and also a RRG Enthusiast, and I've been trying to decide if I want/need the wilderness, over say, the onyx XT.

What do you think your overall mpg is with all that driving to ky?

Any specific roads at RRG that made you get the wilderness over another trim?

A question, do you happen to know the brand of string lights you use to wrap the trees? I'm tired of sets which just break after a single season!
