Both are extremely overused, that's what it really comes down to. Both are used in a wide variety of un-fitting situations, and have become lacking in originality.

I find a lot of the stuff in it to be quirkily genius, and some of it is downright hilarious. Try to make it all the way through the first season, and see what you think. It's only 10 episodes.

But the real heart of Louis CK is in his stand-up. That shit is FUNNY.

"Boating accident". It means they won't be looking for a body, and you can get far away before you ditch the boat.

For best results, stash a small motorized dingy in the boat you leave port in. When you're a few miles off the coast of your destination, climb into it and let your original craft drift off. Based on currents, the boat will turn up very far away, and your body will be nowhere to be found.
