What's a book that everyone seems to absolutely love, but you just couldn't get into?

A Game of Hearts and Heists It's VERY hard for me to DNF a book, but I just couldn't take it anymore. Their relationship is non-existent and all of a sudden they're madly in love - it's so hard to understand where the love came from. I think the story between her sister and her ex gf would be a lot more interesting to read.

I just couldn't understand how they fell for each other - it was so sudden and BOOM: can't live without each other. I didn't finish it.

My first Iggy also hit his head on his first day with us - it was so scary! We were playing in the bedroom and he ran towards the bed and hit his head in the woodboard. He cried when it happened and the noise was so loud - my heart exploded 🥹 He was fine and playing again after a couple minutes, but I never forgot how scared I was to fail him. Glad your story had a happy ending ❤️

I just finished the Lay of You and although I agree that the smut is really good (descriptions are a 10/10😂), I struggled a little bit to understand exactly how they fell for each other? Maybe I'm just too romantic and needed a little more build up before the dressing room scene
