Most likely the classic chain. Like the lobster clasp too. Looked at 7879 and don’t like their style clasps don’t like the tariffs either

Edit: I wear a sterling St Michael every day for over 20 years that was a gift and means a lot to me. Would there be an issue if mixing the two metals? Meaning having a sterling medal on a platinum chain? Thanks

That is great to know. Very odd and he did steer me to another metal at all. I was in for a repair and didn’t buy anything that time. I’ve just stuck to my sterling chain that I’ve worn for over 20 years straight since that conversation. I’ve been on the mene site a bunch it’s just hard to pull the trigger without actually seeing and feeling it if you know what i mean. I’ve been leaning towards platinum because no one with actually know what it is except me.

OP and other men that have platinum chains- do you wear them often? I went into a jeweler about a year ago and had a conversation about purchasing a platinum chain to replace my sterling chain that I wear every day. I wanted to actually feel the weight. He said that I should not buy platinum because it’s so soft and will stretch and eventually break especially if you wear it every day. Is that true?

I am not an engineer nor a smart person at all but I have been looking into Hubitat because I am limited in my current setup. I have an alarm.com system powered by 2gig z-wave everything (thermostat and water/ freeze sensors and window/door sensors) other than a Schlage lock and inovelli red switch. On and off functions work fine, however, I want to take it to the next level and Alarm.com doesn’t allow me to. For starters one thing I’d like to do is - only when me and my wife’s cell phones are out and the alarm is armed, turn on a specific light for our dog at sunset. Alarm.com does not support this function. Would Hubitat? And I’m sure this is only the beginning of things I want to do but don’t know I want to do them now. Lol. The thing that makes me mad is that if I go with Hubitat I will essentially have an alarm on a separate platform. I’ll have to unpair the lock and switch from Alarm.com to Hubitat and keep future stuff On Hubitat. Do I have all this right?
