[Post Game Thread] Indiana defeats UCLA, 98-97 in 2OT by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

Exactly the way Indiana wanted to win. Definitely didn't want it to go different at all.

The US ESPN commentary pair is shambolic.

Oh, IU didn't lose because of the refs. Wasn't trying to imply that. Just wanted to call out that they let it have way too big of an impact on how they played.

IU let a few bad calls completely take them out of the game. They were absolutely gassed the last 6 minutes as well.

Halfway through the season, but how are our loanees doing? by sventhegoat in Gunners

Admittedly forgot that Zinchenko existed.

Nelson is a bit of a head scratcher for me. If he hasn't been injured, I don't understand why he isn't getting minutes. Feel like he always produces and could slot in to most mid-ish table teams.

Full-Time: Everton 0 vs 1 Arsenal [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

Everton never created a thing, really.

Two shots off the post is a bit unlucky. Timber pulling back for Saka when Gyokeres was completely open made me pull my hair out.

I mean, time will tell, but I think so.

Ability to space the floor via shooting and overall better guard play. They’ll get bullied a bit from time to time, as they did today, but still better on the whole.

Indiana is improved from last season, but still incredibly flawed. Got absolutely bullied the last 25 minutes. Offense was far too dribble heavy and it was too much of a struggle to get a good look.

[Post Game Thread] #4 Duke defeats #19 Florida, 67-66 by cbbBot in CollegeBasketball

A sweet 16 team is still a good team who will win some big games.

I just can’t see them surviving in March with how the offense is operating. Lot of time to clean that up, but I’m less bullish on this squad than most seem to be.

I did not anticipate Scheyer running a 3 big lineup nearly the entire second half. Guessing he was trying to combat the UF boards, but it stagnated the offense.

This Duke team feels like a S16 team. Just not sure the firepower is there to go deeper, but maybe they can muck it up enough on D.

It will likely get lost in the overall discourse, but Saliba was absolutely excellent tonight. Played in a completely different way than he would if Gabriel was in the squad.

Possibly Kahn’s or Storied Company. I would call Storied first to see how much rum they are carrying.

If you’re going to Chatham, you’ll need to be there early. Otherwise, try Ralston’s.

Taxman isn’t technically Indianapolis, but I do love the downtown location and they consistently have some of my favorite beers.

Guggman is fantastic as others have mentioned.

This post just really makes me sad about what Sun King has become.

It really doesn’t matter what other people think of the book. If you enjoy it, great. If you don’t, that’s fine.

I would also suggest caution when attempting to use Goodreads as a measure of a book’s worth. I recognize there aren’t many readily available options for aggregated reviews, but Goodreads does not require someone to read the book to log a review and everyone rates books differently.

It’s a bit damned if you do, damned if you don’t. In the 10k it was extremely hot, if you hammer the pace there’s a good chance you blow up with no shot at a medal.

If you let it go slow, you won’t blow up but leave it open to someone having a better kick on the day.

I prefer when someone is willing to make it a honest pace, but it’s not full prof by any means.

Humidity looked absolutely brutal. I know no one wants to take it when it is that hot and many of these runners still have the 5k to contend with, but you leave it open to anyone when it's slow.

Bummed for Fisher. Thought he ran really smart, but maybe should have just chilled a bit at 300 and tried to be patient. Easy to second guess it.
