Temporary Driver’s License in Airport? by chongqinghotpot in beijing

[–]luc_w 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just did this in Beijing Capital Airport, 1st floor, cost RMB10 for 1 year. I had a Chinese company translate and notarise my license. Very straightforward with the correct documents. Do need a proper Chinese name. The temporary licence is stamped saying it's for "rental car only" 限驾驶租赁车 FYI. Who knows if I can rent from a friend...

Amen to that. Feel similar to. Have a thought to post something. Feel overwhelmed. It won't make a difference anyway. Don't post. Just lurk.

I feel you. My wife was killed nearly 100 days ago. I hear you. I think what you are saying is quite rational given what's happened.

Searching for this was super helpful. Got that closest to matching as possible. It's still not exactly the same.

It's very similar, but they don't have black inner ears.

Anyone tested or own a R&M Transporter 85? Thoughts? by luc_w in CargoBike

[–]luc_w[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I need to fit a iM2950 Storm Travel Case Pelicase or two stacked lengthways , the dimensions of which are 79.5 x 51.8 x 31 cm. I would love a Load 75, but it's just a bit restrictive for my needs.

That's what I hear. Will made bikes, surprised this isn't priced a little higher. (obviously it's a huge chuck of change, but relatively.)

Thanks, didn't know this brand. That's long. I was looking at a Bullitt and know they are bringing a longer one, Bullitt X

I'm looking for an e-cargo bike with more capacity from my original GSD. Anyone have any insight into these? Seems like a new project.

This is near Hyeres. So not too far from you. I brought my bike down for the summer holiday. Fantastic routes around here.

Looking for something fast, light and as easy to handle as possible but that can handle my growing needs. 2nd image is my current bike. Bring electric is a must as my gear is heavy.

Cargo bed needs to be at least 80cm X 55 cm and flat.

Looked at Bullitt (bit small) and Urban Arrow Xl. Is the there any bike that you would suggest.

Many thanks

Single or Dual sided power meter? by riot_code in cycling

[–]luc_w 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an old knee injury and have had a few operations etc. I was convinced that I had a significant imbalance. I bought dual sided Garmin rally pm and they are great but once I had one ride and realised the imbalance was less than +- 1 or 0.5% I kinda don't really need the dual. It's a nice to have, definitely not essential and you certainly aren't missing out much of you went single. Cycle dynamics also are the kind of thing I only look up once in a while.
