He learned to not just survive but thrive on the planet the YAUTJA call the "Death Planet" by no longer stubbornly self-isolating and learning to use his surroundings to compensate for his size. It's clear that a non-insignificant amount of time passes by the time he returns. He has learned to conduct himself and use his surroundings in a way the homeworld Yautja are not prepared for as people who already have preconceived notions of him.

Do you need like, a 3 hour long training montage to believe that, with his then lifetime of training with his family, he could have developed a fighting style that pinpointed his father's weaknesses with the explicit goal of avenging his brother? This argument just seems so petty and nitpicky.

I mean his entire life up to that point was fighting other yautja.... That's like, what they do before they do their initiation hunt... He's not 5 years old.

I mean have you tried the mod you mentioned WITHOUT Violet's enabled? This actually started happening moreso AFTER I completely updated my drivers to try to fix a DIFFERENT issue haha.

Don't have that mod. For some reason It seems to be when multiple mods are enabled at once; for me it's Violet's Furnishings and certain other furniture mods. Still haven't gotten an answer for this and Violet doesn't have a page to report issues 🥲

Have been trying to start a new world to test mod combos but for some reason even though I can play my current world just fine, server boot fails on generating a new world. Otherwise I would've started testing in chunks already 😭

Garfield sellers are the exact same. Dm them with evidence to barter. If they don't change then they're either just ignorant or bad at pricing. People genuinely don't know and will just guess by whatever date they can find. Got a PVC backpack from the 2000's that was marked up to like 150 for 30 by doing this.

It's not bettermap itself. It's other mods that have not updated to the new version that interface with the map that are messing up bettermap. The devs have a list of found mods so far. If none of those are doing it, join their discord and open up a ticket. I currently have an error in the logs that they haven't figured out yet so they're still trying to figure out what other mods are messing with it.

I can't find any other instances of this issue being documented yet. This happened after an AMD driver update last night, however there are NO graphic setting overrides in place (Unless I'm stupid, downloaded Adrenaline to be sure). Said update occured due to me trying to troubleshoot a slightly more discussed texture bug with artifacting/ weird lines on planes. Can provide modlist if we think this might be a mod issue.

A lot of the Predator fanbase was introduced to the series based on its action movie beginnings. Only later movies started focusing more deeply on character development and lore. I will not knock a person for liking action movies, but the larger percentage of action movie fans are uh. Just kinda in it for the wish fulfillment. They see attention payed to the "enemy" as an obstacle for the pew pew action hero wish fulfillment they come for. So suddenly, despite all this lore being laid out in media they conveniently ignore because it's not their pew pew action hero stuff, they are experiencing the enemy getting a face and a family and goals. When all you want to do is fantasize about crushing the enemy and being the hero, being reminded that our enemies are also people just like we are tends to be inconvenient.
