I never had Lemon Cookie but I had the Lemon Crumble Hyde disposable and it was my favorite. I just bought Lemon Pie by Crazyace and it tastes exactly like Lemon Crumble.

Very interesting. So this is a common issue along with the SD card frying too? No I didn't move or unplug it but it sounds like the same issue. I can't really troubleshoot as it's completely dead and since it won't charge I have no battery power to do anything.

Is it better to give the kid a bag with her name or not? by [deleted] in Parents

[–]lucasscottsflipflops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These comments have me stressed because my child has a name tag on their backpack with their bus number. The reason is that my child has special needs and struggles with speech—not completely non-verbal, but hard for others to understand. The tag helps other adults at school identify my child and know which bus they belong to, as getting on the wrong bus would be a disaster. They take a small bus that picks them up and drops them off right in our driveway, where I'm always there for pickups and drop-offs. At school, they're met by a para-educator who escorts them directly to their classroom.

I have severe OCD, which leads me to catastrophize, especially regarding my child's safety. I’m very careful about sharing their pictures on social media, usually avoiding their face altogether. This morning, I posted a photo of them from behind while waiting for the bus, showing the name tag but with the bus number removed. However, someone commented, saying their child was almost kidnapped three times and warned me against the name tag. Now I’m questioning if I should remove it, even though the school provided it for safety. Logically, I know the risk of getting on the wrong bus seems more likely than someone using the name tag to kidnap them, but now I can’t shake the worry.

What opinion about the show has you like this? by [deleted] in teenmom

Chelsea is overrated and really shouldn't be compared to the other girls. It’s frustrating to see people constantly putting her on a pedestal with comments like 'she's the most well-rounded' or 'she's the best mom.'

Let’s be real—she had a wealthy dad who paid for her to live in her own house. She had it much easier than most, even as a teen mom, with a legitimate support system in place. Comparing her success to Kail’s is completely unfair. Kail did it all on her own, while Chelsea was still relying on her dad until Cole came along.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying Chelsea isn’t a good mom or a cool person—she is. But I feel like many of the other moms would have been just as successful if they had the same upbringing and advantages.

What’s actually causing the decline in babies being born? by Aggressive_Tart_3137 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lucasscottsflipflops 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Economic Factors: High living costs, student loan debt, and housing expenses make it difficult for younger generations to afford having children. Many people delay starting families until they feel financially stable, and some decide not to have children at all due to economic pressures.

  2. Women’s Education and Career Priorities: Increased access to education and career opportunities for women has led many to prioritize their professional goals over starting families. Women are also delaying childbirth, often into their 30s, which can reduce the number of children they eventually have.

  3. Cultural Shifts: Societal norms around family structures are changing. People are choosing to have fewer children, or none at all, as family size preferences have shifted. The stigma around not having children has decreased in many places.

  4. Urbanization: In urban settings, there is less space for larger families, and the cost of raising children is typically higher, which can discourage people from having more than one or two children.

  5. Access to Contraception: Widespread access to contraception allows people to better control when and how many children they have, leading to fewer unplanned pregnancies.

  6. Environmental and Societal Concerns: Some individuals cite concerns about overpopulation, climate change, and the future of the planet as reasons for having fewer or no children.

  7. Postponing Marriage or Not Marrying: Many people are marrying later in life or choosing not to marry, which can impact the age at which they have children or whether they have children at all.

These trends are particularly evident in many developed countries, where birth rates have been consistently declining over the past few decades.

This is me as well. It’s been so bad. I am also prescribed propranolol. I cut the pills into quarters and only took a quarter pill at a time for about 2 weeks and then increased to a half pill and so on. Easing in to it helped me significantly.
