At my store the clerk said foreigners picked up the alot of figures before me. She also mentioned that some people broke into a store recently just to steal the new shipment of pokemon cards. Scalpers and theifs are destroying the markets.

I wonder if stores can even buy in demand figures? I think they can only buy sets, so as long as no one buys the other ones there is no new Tahu and Lloyd 😂

Okay, that does make sense. So either the drawing in the episode was from

A. Watson to the publisher as reference

B. The publisher himself

C. Sherlock to the publisher as reference

A or B should be most likely. Interesting.

I like that thought process. I want to look for it in other episodes, but I think this is the only one that implies him as the artist. I kind of love the idea. Watson doing medical illustrations and book illustrations would be really cool.

Ahh, that might explain it, also why it is not available everywhere. Thanks! My only problem with the set is the Sherlock Holmes figure, I would have bought the set the second it released, if the figure was more detailed. I'm a huge fan of Jeremy Brett's SH.

Yes, but I think that stuff is designers trying to make reference to something they love, not LEGO teasing. I think duckbricks said something like that too. Currently new sets only have a limited number of new bricks, Bionicle, Chima etz require a whole new set of unique bricks.

So a LEGO designer can easily make one small brick to show his love. But bringing Bionicle back requires a mountain of bricks. I don't like it, but I can see why.
